Hi there,
Welcome to my space. I'm a professional translator/editor, a budding front-end developer, and an amateur illustrator. I describe myself as a detail-oriented, creativity-driven, execution-strong self-starter, based on my experiences.
The pure logic behind computer lanaguages restores the calm of my mind. Click below to check out my first commercial project, built with Next JS and Tailwind CSS, for the webcomics platform Rarement.
As a native Korean speaker, I'm obsessed with finding the most natural target experessions when it comes to English to Korean translations. Even a little tweak to the ending of a sentence can go a long way to add much more naturality and vibrancy to the text. Click below to check out a couple of the Korean translations I produced for Riot Games Korea.
More often than not, literal English translations of a Korean text can sound awkward or ambiguous. My goal in Korean to English translation is thus to extract the essential meaning of the sentences and deliver it with the utmost clarity. Click below to check out the English translations I produced for the webcomics platform Rarement and its Instagram account.
Although I prefer sitting at the desk and polishing my written text/codes, I also enjoy serving as a bridge for spoken communication. One of the biggest clients for my interpretation services was Samsung SDS, where I worked as an in-house interpreter for one year. Interpreting for the executive management and VIPs at the high-level meetings was a great opportunity for me to experience the fast-paced business environment.
Sometimes my doodles develop into full illustrations. Check out below for the ones I produced for my best friend's side projects.
